About Karishna and Peter

You might ask, “Why have a wedding blog -  when you have not been a bride/groom?”. Well, we have been bridesmaids/groomsmen/wedding planners/ friend of someone planning a wedding/ family of a couple getting married.  We have been in all those roles, we have heard the brides and grooms talk about budget, vendors to trust, where to get this or that. A little bit ago, Peter’s cousin was getting married and could not find a wedding venue, NY Gets Wed was born to bring  beautiful affordable inspirations with ease.

 

About Submissions and Vendors Listed

Our submission guidelines are very easy. We have minimal requirements for both submissions for editorial content and vendor listing.

 

Editorial Submissions: Just like any other blog, we have a certain style to uphold. Our style is modern and cool. Our brides are in New York (Statewide) and love new and innovative wedding ideas.
