• Use your bridesmaids to create that same color palette. Try and use  one of the colors on their dresses and the other on the bridesmaids bouquet. For example: If your bridesmaid is wearing dark purple give them a bright orange bouquet filled with calla lilies or daises.

Yes, you heard it right. But not any ordinary newspaper, make it about your wedding day. If you’re giving it at your ceremony, talk about your wedding location, bridesmaids, how you met and give them a crossword or a few jokes. A cute idea is incorporating a horoscope for the day (try to make it humorous). If your handing it at your reception, give them a pull out card for them to request songs to the DJ and you can include engagement pictures. A cute idea is using it as a Save The Date, this way you can include all the upcoming wedding information.

Your wedding should be taken seriously but when you incorporate humor, both you and your guest will have a better time. Why not incorporate some props so that you can indulge with your bridal party and get some awesome pictures along the way. Remember, you will look at these for years to come. You can ask your photographer to bring some or just customize them yourself and give it to your photographer before the wedding day.

Light Up -  Remember that lighting is a big game changer. This can be the difference between an event that looks good to one that is stunning.  If your budget is not that much, focus the lighting in the area that your guests will see the most (bride and groom table and bar).

Flowers -  There are millions of flowers out there. Some are pricey and some are more cost efficient. The key is using the most inexpensive flowers as fillers and pops of color with the most expensive ones. Remember you can also use silk flowers or fake flowers to submerge in water to give a   sunk in water flower look.

Table Mix – Out with only the rounds. Use your space wisely! You can design your room with long imperial tables (seat 12 – 15) and combine them with  traditional round tables (seat 8-10) . Even try to incorporate some square and rectangular tables (seat 8 – 12). One great idea is designing fan style tables,  which use long runner style centerpieces with one tall centerpiece that unite four imperial tables.

Floor Power – Are you having a wedding on the beach, a garden or just a rough space? The most amazing investment you could do is a floor.  If you budget is  low remember you can always just floor specific areas of the room (dance floor, bar, lounge area).

Look Up -  Some of the most amazing wedding inspirations involve an amazingly draped space or chandeliers of some sort. Remember you can rent these! A little money saving tip is ask your drappist if they allow you to buy the fabric and just charge you for the installation.
